As of Friday, Bali had reported 343 coronavirus cases and four deaths, a much lower fatality rate compared with 16,496 cases and 1,076 deaths in the whole archipelago. Bali has done a good job in controlling the Coronavirus pandemic and have set their calendars to reopen to tourists around June or October latest.
There has been no official date of reopening yet and we still have to see if the government will be implementing any travel restrictions or which international tourists may actually be allowed to enter the country. Even if you do get to travel to Bali when it reopens you better keep in mind that a lot of shops and restaurants will probably still be closed or partially operating under restrictions so you might not get the full Bali experience you're expecting. Thats why don't get your hopes up too high for now until an official date of reopening will be announced. Mahirap talaga pag umasa tayo. #Hugot
Bali has been a famous destination for Filipinos ever since direct flights were introduced from Manila to Bali and I know several friends who like going back there because its cheap and has a great atmosphere with several parties, beach clubs, and cultural attractions.
Bali is just one of the many popular tourist destinations around the world planning on reopening to travelers in the coming weeks and months.
