Hilton Honors rolls out a promo thats hard to resist if you have any plans of staying in hotels this year. To welcome back the slow and painful recovery of the tourism industry Hilton Honors let's you earn double points and double nights credits which is a pretty big deal.
We rarely see any program offer double nights credits and is obviously a direct result of Covid-19 and its impact its had on hotels. With the promo you can reach elite status twice as fast for this year as every night counts as 2 nights stay to your elite status progress at any Hilton property.

In addition to the promo Conrad and Hilton Manila room rates have significantly dropped. Conrad's rooms start at ₱5,800 and Hilton's starts at ₱4,800. Back when I stayed early last year the cheapest room you could get at Conrad was at around ₱11,000. Thats almost 50% off!!!
Now of course there is a greater risk contracting the Coronavirus by staying at a hotel compared to just staying at home (pls stay home if when you can), but personally as long as you stay in a well known international chain or a big branded hotel, the risk should be pretty minimal as long as we follow social distancing, frequent hand washing, wearing of face masks and shield.
It's been almost 6 months since the pandemic hit the country and by now hotels and guests have adapted to the "new norms" which include strict and enhanced cleaning protocols throughout the entire hotel property.
